1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage and session storage, let a website remember small pieces of information on your device. In this policy we call them all “cookies”.
2. Cookies we use
We keep cookies to a minimum and we don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| en_sid | Cookie · strictly necessary | Keeps you logged in. HttpOnly, so page scripts can't read it. | Until you close the browser |
| en_pending | Cookie · strictly necessary | Holds your email while you finish signing up with Google. | 15 minutes |
| en_age_ok | Cookie + local storage · necessary | Remembers that you confirmed you are 18 or over. | 1 year |
| en_cookie | Local storage · necessary | Remembers your cookie choice. | Until cleared |
| en_me | Session storage · functional | A short-lived copy of your username, coins and level so the header doesn't flicker between pages. No password or private data. | Until you close the tab |
3. Third-party cookies
- Google Sign-In — if you use the Google button, Google may set its own cookies to run the sign-in. See Google's privacy and cookies policies.
- Our games — games load in a frame from our own games library and may use browser storage to remember in-game settings such as sound.
4. Your choices
When you first visit, you can choose “Essential only” or “Accept”. You can change your choice at any time using Cookie settings in the footer.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, you won't be able to log in, and you'll be asked to confirm your age again.
